Mississippi State University is hosting the inaugural Social Science Symposium “Where Passion Meets Action,” an immersive program May 19-22 designed for students interested in studying social sciences at the land-grant institution.

The recent Bulldog PRism Awards honored local and Mississippi State communications professionals in a big way this past month.

Shawn Lambert, associate professor of archeology and undergraduate coordinator for Mississippi State’s Department of Anthropology and Middle Eastern Cultures, will discuss the historical significance of enslavement at Prospect Hill Plantation during two public events next week.
